Seattle’s Festa Italia 2012 was fantastico! The weather was perfect and the people who attended the Festa were delightful. I love talking with my readers, so if you were one of the ones who bought a copy of Bianca’s Vineyard, mille grazie!  My daughter Hannah accompanied me this year. In addition to helping me at the event, we had a great girls’ time enjoying the Emerald City. It was so much fun, we’re talking of making it an annual trip

For Oregon readers, several upcoming events are scheduled. For mid-Willamette Valley readers, I’ll be speaking at the King’s Coffee Shop in Lebanon this upcoming Tuesday at 2:30. Then, on Thursday evening, Nov. 1, from 6-9 pm., I’ll be signing books at Sorella Luna — a ceramics and fine arts studio — in Portland’s Pearl District.

For Christmas shoppers, don’t miss the Greens Show at the Salem State Fairgrounds from Nov. 30 – Dec. 2.  I’ll be signing books there as well.

Lastly, I was approached by a tour organizer about doing a Bianca’s Vineyard and Domenico’s Table Book Tour in Italy next year. I am currently in negotiations with the organization and will be sure to let you know when it will become a reality.  Stay tuned also for a release date announcement for Domenico’s Table.  I’m still praying for a miracle that it will be out by Christmas!!
